Themes of depression, mental health, sexual violence, child abuse, war and atrocities that come with it are represented in the game.
The game also includes the following: Use of alcohol and drugs, scenes of self-destructiveness from suicide to self-harm, nudity and sexual content. Dismemberment is one of the core mechanics in the game. The game takes place over a period of three days - divided in Morning, Evening and Night sections - each with unique events and characters moving around the town of Prehevil following their own agenda while the deadline grows ever closer.ĬAUTION! The game contains scenes of explicit violence and gore. The game follows the story of 14 train passengers, 8 playable, forced by a malicious entity known as the Trickster Moon God to become participants in the Festival of Termina - a battle royale kind of event where only one of the participants will come out alive. Turn-based combat meets resource management, the game takes place in the same universe as the original Fear & Hunger, but it is a stand-alone story and no prior knowledge of the series is required. Described as a mix of jRPG and Survival Horror. The game is both developed and published by Miro Haverinen.
Fear & Hunger 2: Termina was released on 9 December 2022 and is the sequel to the indie survival horror RPG Fear & Hunger.
